Dr Paul G Fourie   MBBS DRCOG MRCGP   Qualified 1993 Newcastle Upon Tyne

Dr Fourie has been at Witton Medical Centre since September 1999. He was born in London and lived in South Africa for 9 years.

He has three children and many interests including amateur dramatics and football. He appeared on stage with his children in Annie in May 2008 and Fiddler on the Roof in September 2008, however due to time constraints his acting career is currently on hold.

Dr Fourie had 9 years as captain of the British Medical Football Team, having led them to victory in South Korea in 2009 and two runners-up finishes since. He now plays for a 7-a-side GB Masters Team, and will be competing in Prague in 2018  details on British Medical Football Team

He ran the London Marathon in April 2014 and the Loch Ness Marathon in September 2017. With the help of the patients and staff over £6000 was raised for Pancreatic Cancer and East Lancs Hospice.

He has now started to do Vasectomies at Witton.

 

Dr Adil Ahmed  MBBS  MRCGP Qualified 1998 India

Dr Ahmed qualified from India. He has been at Witton Medical Centre since January 2014.

He has worked in various medical specialities including A&E and Oncology. He is the Diabetic Lead for the practice. He is also a GP Undergraduate Tutor.

He has one daughter and his wife is a qualified paediatrician.

His interests include managing Chronic Dieseases, Mental Health and Paediatrics. He likes managing patients with Medical Complexities. His other interests include performing joint injections and cryotherapy.

When not at work he likes playing/watching cricket and tennis and sometimes tries his hands at cooking.
